Dedicated Application Bundle for industry low bay

Movement detector LRM1040 placement

  • Take into account high furniture and machinery, as these may block detection zone
  • Do not position close to air ventilation , curtains or heating outlet, as air flow can trigger motion sensor
  • Do not position too close to a door, as sensor might detect motion outside when door opens
  • In positioning sensor, keep in mind it detects motions best when right in front of it (90 degrees)
  • When placing the sensor consider the entrances to avoid going into a dark area (detection range!)

Recommended for optimal energy saving

  • 2 sensors placed on opposite walls to ensure full sensor detection coverage (even with some overlapping area in the middle (check the detection range!)
  • When industry hall is occupied with lot of racks or machinery, another sensor design may be needed to ensure detection.
